How many languages are supported?
Narrated voices cover 13 languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish. Performed voices are available in English (US and UK accents), Spanish and Swedish, and more languages are coming soon.
Can I use my own voice?
Your own voice is available with Narrated today: we narrate the whole book from a short clip you record or upload. Own voice for Performed is coming soon.
How many revision rounds do I get?
Performed includes 3 revision rounds and Narrated includes 2.
What do I receive?
You receive your whole book as a finished audiobook: an M4B with chapter markers plus a per-chapter MP3, with full commercial rights.

Will it sound like a real narrator, or a robot?
TomeVox is designed to sound like a real audiobook narrator, not a flat text-to-speech robot. The difference between good and bad AI narration is whether it understands what it's reading. TomeVox performs the whole book in context, so dialogue sounds like dialogue and the tone follows the story. The free tools read line by line with no sense of the story, which is why they sound flat.
What does it cost?
You pay one flat price per book, set by its length: Narrated from $49 and Performed from $149, for books up to 150,000 words. You know your word count, so you know your price before you start.

Do I need a subscription?
TomeVox is pay per book, with no subscription, no monthly fee and no credits.
Do prices depend on finished audio hours?
TomeVox prices are based on your manuscript's word count, not on finished audio hours or minutes.
What happens if my book is over 150,000 words?
Books over 150,000 words pay the Tome price plus a small charge for each extra word: $99 + $0.0005 per word with Narrated, $299 + $0.0015 per word with Performed. A 200,000-word book costs $124 Narrated or $374 Performed.
Can I choose accent and style?
You choose the accent and gender of your voice. Narrated voices also come in a Classic or an Expressive reading style, while Performed voices bring their own emotion, pacing and breath.
Does TomeVox do full-cast or character-by-character narration?
TomeVox produces single-narrator audiobooks today. Multi-voice casts for Performed are coming soon.
Can I actually sell the audiobook?
You get full commercial rights with no exclusivity, and the files are yours to keep. You can sell it directly or through platforms that accept AI or digital-voice audiobooks, following each platform's disclosure rules.
